But why did God create man with a human spirit?
Isn’t having a body and soul enough for us to exist?
Our spirit was created by God so that we can contact and receive Him.
Our body and our soul have their own specific functions; only our spirit has the ability to contact God.
Being reconciled to God through Christ's death is an accomplished matter, but being saved in His life from so many negative things unto glorification is a daily matter.
To be saved in Christ's life is to be saved in Christ Himself as life. He dwells in us, and we are organically one with Him.
Did you know that there are 2 portions in the Bible that mentioned the Lord Jesus becoming something.
The word became flesh.
The first portion is John 1:14, which says, “And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality.”
The last Adam became a Life-giving Spirit
The second portion is first Corinthians 15:45, which says “ So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul''; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.”
To be born anew isn’t to be born again in our physical body, our flesh; nor is it to convert to a religion, turn over a new leaf, or improve ourselves.
In fact, in God’s eyes, the most moral person and the most immoral person have the same need - the life of God.
To have the life of God, we must be born anew.
To be born anew is to be born of the Spirit of God in our spirit, our deepest part.
When God’s Spirit comes into us, we’re born of God.
Have you ever doubted your salvation experience or wondered whether you are really saved.
Nevertheless, the Bible says it is possible to know absolutely, unreservedly, that you are a saved person.
When we received Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we were forgiven and washed from our sins. But although our salvation is eternal, after we’re saved, we still commit sins. We disobey God or fail Him in many situations in our daily living. What should we do?
Have you ever wondered what the meaning of your human life is?
We will see from the Bible God’s plan in his creation of man.
